Being alone is productive, allowing space and time Being alone is productive, allowing space and time to nurture an ever-growing wish list.

After experiencing "wall-to-wall" relationships for most of my adult life, I took a year and a half to totally immerse myself in passion projects.

In that period, I created my Vicki & Hachi website, completed several unfinished projects, and embarked on an unforgettable month-long adventure. Guided by locals, I explored London, Amsterdam, Portugal, Spain, Mallorca, and finally landed in one of my favorite cities — Rome.

When you're at ease with being single, you attract genuine connections. Thriving on your own, you're less needy and more discerning in choosing partners. That's what happened to me.

Remember that you control your solitude. You're not forced to be alone; you choose it, knowing your worth and not settling for just anyone.

Even when relationships fizzle or implode (I've experienced both), there's an upside. You quickly discover your incompatibility, saving precious months or even years. Remember, it's no one's fault. It just wasn't the right fit.

The most meaningful, heartfelt love choices can often come from chasing your own dreams. 💃🏻
Do you find yourself wondering why life isn't turn Do you find yourself wondering why life isn't turning out the way you imagined? I know how you feel. I've been there.

As I’ve discovered, it's never too late to change paths. In fact, I’ve pivoted many times in my life. I believe that life is a series of chapters, and each twist can take you on a completely different and fascinating journey.

I’m thinking about the deep-sea fishing phase which took me from Cabo San Lucas to Fiji. This led to buying a remote, hilltop home in the South Pacific, where I enjoyed blissful, unstructured months. Then there was the fashion business, the cruising years, and even a surgery center I created with my then-husband. The list goes on.

I can’t forget my photographer's rep business. It fizzled out quickly, but it did yield a NYC client the main spread in a national fitness magazine. And guess what? I recently learned he went on to work with Harper's Bazaar and Vogue.

The lesson learned? If something isn't working out, it's just not meant to be. Trust that the universe is guiding you towards something better. One thing always leads to another.

So why not try out your new business idea? Or maybe it's time to end that stagnant relationship. Or perhaps you should jet off to that remote location you've been dreaming about. Think big.

The bottom line is this: you have the power to create the life you want. There’s nobody holding you back — but you. Too many people spend a lifetime cooking up lots of fabulous ideas that they keep locked in their head. And stay there.

Life is too short to stay stuck. So here’s some simple steps to get going: visualize your goal (in vivid detail), make a plan, break it down into a checklist — and take action. The key is to just start!

You deserve to live a life that's full of joy, purpose, and meaning. I call it living The Hachi Spirit. 💫

So go ahead, check out my profile, and learn more about how you can start living your best life — beginning today!
Have you ever found yourself convinced that a cert Have you ever found yourself convinced that a certain celebrity was exactly what they portrayed themselves to be? I totally felt that way about the heavy metal rock group AC/DC.

I remember my girlfriend at the time invited me to their concert in Los Angeles, and I was beyond hesitant. I mean, I had this image in my head of hard-partying, devil-worshipping rock stars — a galaxy away from my mundane life back then. My preferred music was Brazilian jazz.

But, she somehow knew one of the band members, and when would I ever get a first-hand peek at a provocative rock group? In one second, I figured — never again!

The day before the big concert, we met her friend in the cocktail lounge of the posh Peninsula hotel in Beverly Hills. I was in disbelief.

In my memory, they looked as if they were chatting about their country estates and stock portfolios over a cup of tea. Who knows what they were actually discussing — but you get the drift.

Now, don't get me wrong — their concert was definitely noisy and the crowd enthusiastic. My girlfriend had to push the tall guy in front of us to sit down (she was no-nonsense).

But what really surprised me was backstage after the show. It was nothing like the wild party scene you might image. Maybe it happened afterwards, who knows.

Whatever, my brief encounter opened my eyes to the world of celebrity culture. So much of what we see is carefully crafted marketing designed to promote the brand. It’s big business. The lesson: perception is not always reality.

We have to remember that celebrities are people too, with their own private lives, families, hopes, dreams, and struggles — the actual truth that we don’t really know.

If you're looking to experience life beyond your boundaries, you have to take bold steps. Before I began exploring my life, I had a small window to the world. With no clue of what was outside, I decided to not just watch, but actually see and do.

So, if you're ready to take that first step, check out the link in my Vicki & Hachi profile. Embrace your Hachi Spirit! 💫
